Horizons Academy is a structured hybrid homeschool program designed for families seeking strong academics, direct instruction, individualized attention, clear expectations, and a connected learning environment. Tuition reflects more than the number of days a student attends; it supports instructional time, teacher planning, curriculum resources, classroom materials, student support, and intentional cohort planning throughout the school year.
Finding the Right Schedule & Cohort
Each student’s schedule is considered thoughtfully based on age, readiness, academic needs, independence, learning style, and classroom fit. Some students thrive with a standard academic schedule, while others may benefit from additional structure, targeted support, or a schedule that helps build confidence and consistency over time.
TUITION
Tuition rates below reflect standard academy pricing. Tuition is part of an annual enrollment agreement for the full school year. Standard monthly payments are based on an August–May schedule, with extended 11- or 12-month payment options available for families who begin payments in June or July. Programs are offered in intentionally designed cohorts, and group sizes or instructional groupings may vary based on enrollment, age, course needs, student readiness, and classroom support.

Our middle and high school program is centered around a three-day academic model to support consistency, accountability, core academic progress, and appropriate course planning. Four- and five-day options are available for students needing a fuller academic schedule, additional structure, or expanded support.
Two-day options may be available by approval for students with a specific course plan, à la carte schedule, or individualized academic pathway.

Applying is simple, and the process is designed to be clear, personal, and supportive from the very first step. If you're looking for a smaller, structured learning environment with strong academics and meaningful support, we’d love to connect. Click below to apply online and take the next step.
Step 3: Admissions Decision
Admission decisions are made thoughtfully, with the goal of ensuring a strong fit for both the student and the learning environment. After the tour, application, and any recommended follow-up steps (such as a shadow day), families will be contacted with a clear update and next steps. If accepted, families will receive enrollment information, tuition details, and guidance for securing their child’s placement. Every step of the process is designed to be personal, supportive, and centered on helping students thrive.
Step 4: Accept Your Offer
Congratulations! Your family is one step closer to joining a small, supportive learning community where students are known, challenged, and encouraged to grow.
To confirm your child’s placement, please complete the enrollment steps included in your acceptance email (forms, enrollment fee, and tuition selection).
Your child’s spot is secured once all required enrollment fees are paid and items have been completed and submitted.

Step 5: Secure Your Space
To secure a student’s placement, a one-time, non-refundable Registration, Enrollment & Supplies Fee is required. This fee helps cover registration processing, program planning, curriculum resources, classroom supplies, and program materials based on the student’s schedule and instructional needs.

Step 6: Tuition Payments
Flexible payment plans are available for annual tuition. Tuition payments may be made by check, cash, Zelle, or Venmo.

Bi-annual payments — 2 installments with a 2.5% discount
Monthly payments — Standard August–May payment plan
