Where Students Build Skills and Confidence
Horizons Academy offers structured, in-person hybrid homeschool learning for ages 5–18. Students build skills across core academic areas — English Language Arts, math, science, and history — through direct instruction, guided practice, hands-on projects, and meaningful academic support.
Middle and high school students may also participate in electives, projects, course planning, and à la carte options when appropriate.

What Sets Us Apart
Our difference is instruction. Students receive structured teaching, intentional grouping, and meaningful academic support designed to build real skills over time.
Horizons Academy blends structured literacy, Orton-Gillingham, the DuBard Association Method, skill-based math and writing instruction, hands-on projects, and consistent coaching in organization and study habits.
How It Works
We do not rely on busy work or random worksheets. Students are taught skills directly, with clear instruction, guided practice, and proven methods — especially in reading, writing, math, and study habits.
Skills are reinforced through daily practice, coaching, discussion, hands-on projects, and real-world application. Students are known, grouped intentionally, and expected to participate, follow through, take ownership, and grow.
