Program Pathways

Horizons Academy offers structured full-time and hybrid learning options for ages 5–18. Full-time students attend five days per week for a consistent academic experience. Hybrid families may choose one to five days on campus with guided home study to support learning at home.

Experienced instructors, intentional grouping, and hands-on, project-based learning create a focused environment where students build strong skills in core academics while growing in confidence, independence, and connection.

Students are placed thoughtfully based on age, readiness, academic goals, learning needs, and classroom fit. Cohorts are intentionally designed and not overcrowded, with group sizes varying based on age, course needs, student readiness, and classroom support.

Known students. Clear expectations. Real progress.

Daily Programming

Lower & Upper Elementary (9:00 AM – 2:00 PM)

Elementary students learn in a warm, hands-on environment where curiosity, creativity, and connection are encouraged. Through small-group instruction, learning centers, projects, outdoor exploration, literacy-rich experiences, and meaningful relationships with teachers and peers, students build strong academic foundations while growing in confidence, responsibility, and independence.

Middle & High School (8:45 AM – 2:30 PM)

Middle and high school students learn in a structured, engaging environment where academics, leadership, creativity, and real-world application come together. Students participate in literature, writing, math, science, history, geography, cultural studies, entrepreneurship, communication, project-based learning, and elective opportunities. Through these experiences, students are encouraged to think critically, communicate effectively, solve problems, collaborate with others, and take increasing ownership of their learning.

Students are challenged academically while also developing confidence, responsibility, leadership, and practical skills that support success both inside and beyond the classroom.
